| The weather was amazing this weekend and we had to take advantage. We headed off to Corpus Christi, more specifically North Padre. We prefer it because it is a bit more secluded and quiet. We also went to the USS Lexington museum, which I have always wanted to do. I am a history nerd and there were all kinds of neat things for all of us to see. The photo above is as you walk up to the ship. |

| The kids really loved the airplanes and other replicas that they were able to sit in or play with. |

| Here you go: the downside of this getaway. There was seaweed everywhere. I mean, everywhere. The kids got a new boogieboard and just headed in with no complaints. Matthew was a bit more hesitant. However, the 82 (!??!) high in mid May made up for the seaweed. |
