I have a new love!
My wonderful parents and in-laws bought me the best gift ever for my birthday on Saturday. You can see I made my daughters pose with it...a new Dyson Animal! It is the coolest thing ever. Yes, it is a vacumn cleaner, but it is amazing. For three or so years now, I have walked slowly by the Dyson at Target, wistfully dreaming of owning one. Now it is mine! You see boys and girls, dreams do come true.
Yes, I really am that much of a nerd.
CATZ Center is awesome!
Meagan and Natalie started their Sports Fun class at CATZ Training Center a few weeks ago, and I have nothing but raves for both the teacher and the center. If you happen to live near one of these centers and have a 3-6 year old, try out the class! It is a lot of fun for the kids. Also, it says a lot about the teacher that my girls run in smiling, considering their usual hesitation to try anything new.

My sensitive child
Meagan cracks me up. I got home early yesterday and the girls and I were doing some artwork. (I must say, my flower picture, complete with stickers, was rather nice.) I misplaced my project and Natalie went around the house looking for it. She found it (on the dining room table, totally right in front of me!) and I said, "Natalie! You are my hero!"
All of a sudden I heard sobbing. Bad sobbing, like Meagan had broken her leg. I went running into the family room and asked her what was wrong. It took a while, but when I finally got her to spit it out, she told me that, "I wanted to be your hero and now Natalie is your hero!"
Crazy kids...

Sisters....
...that love to cuddle are so cute. This is certainly no photographic piece of art, but I loved when I walked into the room and they were snuggling on the couch and looking at Meagan's Hannah Montana calendar. I love watching them become best friends!
I have a sweet little student whose baby sister is very sick. The baby is only 21 months and dying of cancer. My team of teachers have been great and everyone has tried to be supportive to our student, but there just are no right words to say. Please keep this family in your thoughts.

The chocolate fest that wasn't.
It was a total bummer. April, Summer, and I went to the Texas Culinary Academy for the annual chocolate celebration. We went out to lunch and then got there about an hour after it began. The lines were crazy. Never the less, I am willing to stand in line for chocolate, so we took our place in line. The funny part was that we did not seem to be moving. We realized after a little while that everyone was just cutting into line and line and taking the cupcakes, brownies and other treats. Eventually we tried to do the same thing, but we got caught! April and I are total rule followers, so I found it ironic that the one time that we tried to break the rule we were busted. Anyway, we left with only some little chocolate disks that they use to melt down and create chocolate items.
Oh well. At least I got a girls afternoon!
