Dressed like a little man

Slowly but surely!

All of my kids have been late to walk. Meagan was 15 mo. and Natalie was 22 mo (yes, that caused major stress.) Well, apparently Matthew is going to split the difference and walk at 18 mo. He still doesn't walk as a whole, but we are getting there! It is so cute to watch him.

Our crazy lives

Andy had a softball game on Tues at 6:45, so I figured it was early and we would go. Ugh. Total mistake. Matthew insisted on crawling up and down the bleachers and sitting on them looking like he was going to fall off. Natalie was intent on running into the trees which makes me nervous about poison ivy. Luckily Meagan behaved. After Matthew finished with the bleachers he crawled behind the catcher, just in the prime area for a foul ball to hit him. And yesterday while Meagan's shower was heating up, Matthew got into it. Yup, he was just sitting in there having a ball.
Wow.

Viva Las Vegas!

Andy, Brian, Brian, and I had a great time in Las Vegas. We stayed at the Bellagio, which is a very lovely hotel in every respect. The two Brians stayed at the Aria which was also nice despite their little problems that ended up upgrading the guys to the Presidential Suite. The days were busy. We gambled a little bit but didn't do so great at that, but the people watching, as always in Vegas, was classic. The food was also (mostly) excellent. We did have one off the strip dinner that was disapointing. I particularly enjoyed seeing Cirque de Soliel Love, the Beatles one. It was different from the other ones; it had much more dancing.
Meanwhile, my children were giving the stomach flu to all their grandparents. Now Andy isn't feeling well and I am crossing my fingers that I continue to stay away from it.
